As the special physiological features of pregnancy, maternal nutrition is not only related to herself, but also affect the unborn fetus growth and development directly.The pregnant women can not be used a simple method of diet and drugs to lose weight. Because on an excessive diet will accelerate the fat decomposition,caused ketoacidosis, that may damage the fetal neural development,therefore, the overweight pregnant woman should not lose weight blindly, but should be on an appropriate diet based on ensuring the normal fetal growth and development.
Choosing variety of food to meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women and fetuses,including rice, milk, lean meat, fish, eggs, beans, vegetables and fruits;
Don’t eat sweets, fried foods, fatty meat and animal skin;
Appropriate increase in coarse grains and vegetables that are rich in dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals-rich food.
